Shivani Wazir Pasrich, Chairperson, Commonwealth Society of India welcomed Ms. Patricia Janet Scotland, Secretary General of the Commonwealth Nations, Her Excellency Right Honourable Baroness Scotland of Asthal on her maiden visit to India on December 14th, 2019 in the Capital.
At a welcome reception hosted in honour of Secretary General of the Commonwealth, Shivani and Scotland discussed spoke on gender along with respected actress Shabana Azmi and politician Meenakshi Lekhi. The evening welcomed the Secretary General and celebrated Women’s Empowerment, Gender Equality, Girl Child Development and Menstrual Hygiene and Health of the Girl Child.
