A delegation from the Commonwealth Forum of the National Liberal Club, United Kingdom led by was welcomed by former Secretary General Kamalesh Sharma and Founder of the Commonwealth Cultural Forum, Shivani Wazir Pasrich in New Delhi. The delegation was here to promote friendship and commonwealth understanding between two countries and sharing ideas what commonwealth countries can do together in the field of education, business, networking etc. The occasion was graced by the presence of former Indian High Commissioner to the United Kingdom Yash Sinha, former Director of Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay Prof. Ashok Misra, Director of the Commonwealth Human Rights Initiative (CHRI) Sanjoy Hazarika and Chairperson of Vidya Foundation, Rashmi Misra.
